Birds Like Hot Peppers

Fun fact: parrots cannot feel the heat from peppers like we do, called capsaicin. This is likely because they have far less taste receptors than we do. Yes, birds can taste, just not as well as us. Peppers, even with the seeds, is perfect for parrots to consume. It’s some of my birds favorite things, especially to hold in their feet
