Training Regression

Regression can happen, especially with animals who have a deep history of preforming undesirable behaviors. If you’re experiencing regression in your training plan, remember to go back to the point in the plan where you last had success and take smaller approximations. Sometimes I’ll even start from the very beginning to redefine expectations by fine-tuning my training and what behaviors are accepted for reward.
